Route 42 to finish 3rd Dec.
01/11/2011

With regret, we have to announce the closure of route 42 between Northampton, Briar Hill and Tesco Mereway.

This is due to low patronage on the service and the need to re-deploy our vehicles elsewhere.

We understand that another operator runs a similar route, No. 12, between Northampton and Briar Hill/ Camp Hill.

It goes without saying that we would like to thank our passengers for travelling with us over the past 7 months.

Promotion continues
19/03/2011

Due to popular demand we have decided to extend our special low fare offers on our flagship route 31, the Kings Heath Express until the end of March. We can't avoid these fare increases forever, but we're doing our best to avoid it as much as we can.

"This company was established as a low fares bus service and our philosophy hasn't changed. We can't keep our fares the same forever, due to diesel prices increasing and the way we are reimbursed for passes decreasing, but we will never lose sight of the fact that we are known for our low fares- always lower than the local average of our rivals."
Derek S. Taylor, Managing Director

Better 31 service
21/03/2011

Due to popular demand we are improving our flagship route 31, the Kings Heath Express.

We are introducing an evening service and the last departure will be at 21.30 from Northampton Bus Station.

We are re-timing our Sunday (& bank holiday) service to provide our passengers with a 30 minute frequency- not only that, but the irritating gap in the service at lunchtime will be removed so that services run all day.

100% reliable!
22/03/2011

31 100% reliable!

During a recent audit of all bus services in the town, we were judged over a period of several weeks to be 100% reliable and punctual on our flagship route 31, Kings Heath Express.

We would like to thank the great loyalty of our passengers who have made this service what it is today.

Route 31 diversion
01/01/2011

Please be advised that on Sunday 27th Feb route 31 will be diverted away from Gladstone Road, due to ongoing street modernisation. Services will call at Kings Heath as normal before going via Merthyr Road and picking up Spencer Bridge Road as normal.

All Gladstone Road passengers are asked to please await your bus on Merthyr Road instead. We apologise for this disruption.

GPS tracking for reliability
12/01/2011

We have fitted tracking units to our fleet so that we can monitor them for punctuality and reliability. We know where they are and can ensure that they reach you when they should do.

We have computers to worry about our punctuality, so you don't have to.

Route 86 & route 87 to finish
12/03/2011

We regret to announce that we will stop running the 86 & 87 between Northampton and Towcester 19th March 2011. This service is under contract to Northamptonshire County Council. Due to government cutbacks, neither this company nor the council is able to say for certain what the future of this route will be.

For commercial reasons we can not operate a service without some degree of certainty as to the future. We very much regret the inevitable inconvenience this will cause our passengers. We would like to thank you for your custom over the past 2 years and hope you have enjoyed our competitive fares and reliable service.

UPDATE 10th Feb. We understand that the Council is looking at appointing a new contractor on an interim basis.
